Slug and Lettuce

Just had the one drink in here but really enjoyed it, it was quiet and relaxed, the bar staff were friendly and the cocktails were really good. The place has a really modern clean feel about it and looking back now we wish we'd have stayed a bit longer and tried some food here too.

My steak was perfect and my wife's smothered chicken excellent value. Shame about the very loud music - perhaps it was turned up to drown out the party revellers! All in all a good night. Only downside was paying £5.20 for a pint of beer. Perhaps I will visit Wetherspoons for a drink before walking over the road to the Slug and Lettuce for a meal!

The food at Slug and Lettuce was amazing! We had a work group of like 15 people, all the food came out together, with no errors! every one loved the food, all well presented and the staff were lovely.
